Abstract
Este trabajo tiene la finalidad de presentar una propuesta técnica económica a una empresa de la industria del hormigón premezclado la cual permita reducir la tasa de falla de bombas centrífugas y elementos asociados utilizados en dos sistemas productivos de la empresa. Se investigan los actuales parámetros y condiciones de funcionamiento de los equipos para luego identificar las causas de falla y proponer alternativas que las eviten.Se demuestra que gran parte de los equipos no son aplicables para el contexto operacional en que estos trabajan y por otro lado la operación de estos equipos y elementos no es la adecuada. También, se determina que los tiempos de operación y consumos energéticos de las bombas son considerables y pueden reducirse drásticamente sin afectar el proceso de la empresa. Se destaca por último, la importancia de hacer un buen uso de los equipos con el fin de mejorar sus tiempos esperados de buen funcionamiento.La propuesta final considera un rediseño de ambos sistemas basado en procesos de uso actual en otras empresas del mismo rubro tanto nacional como internacionalmente. El proyecto tiene un costo de inversión cercano a los $36.000.000 [CLP] y se espera que el plazo de recuperación de la inversión sea en 2,7 [años]
This work intends to present an economic technical proposal to a company of ready-mix concrete’s industry which allows to reduce the failure rate of centrifugal pumps and associated elements used in two productive systems in the enterprise. The current parameters and operating conditions of the equipment will be investigated so the causes of failure can be identified and then propose alternatives to avoid them.It is proved that most of the equipment are not applicable to the operational context in which they work and on the other hand the operation of this equipment and elements is not adequate. Also, it determines that the operating times and energetic consumption of the pumps are considerable and can be drastically reduced without affecting the company’s process. Finally it highlighted the importance of making good use of the equipment in order to improve their good performance expected times.The final proposal considers a redesign of both systems based on current processes used in other companies in the same category nationally and internationally. The project has an investment cost close to 36,000,000 [CLP] and is expected that the investment payback period will be in 2.7 [years]
