Diseño e implementación de un motor de búsqueda sobre la red chilena actual

Abstract

Este trabajo de titulo tiene como objetivo diseñar e implementar un motor de búsqueda sobre la red chilena que existe actualmente y usando las mejores tecnologías disponibles hasta la fecha. Para lograr esto se diseña un sistema capaz de rastrear sitios web chilenos de una manera eficiente, que permite construir una colección representativa del país, que luego es indexada y usada para responder a las consultas ingresadas por los usuarios en el buscador. Luego, esta implementación se disponibiliza a través de un servidor web llamado Inquiro. Los resultados más significativos son el nivel de representación de los sitios chilenos, ya que prácticamente toda la colección corresponde a sitios de Chile. También se obtiene que el algoritmo de ranking obtiene un nivel de precisión y desempeño competitivo con respecto a buscadores similares. Como resultado final, este sistema también permitirá la ejecución de experimentos e investigaciones futuras de alto impacto.This title work aims to design and implement a search engine on the Chilean network that currently exists and using the best technologies available to date. To achieve this, a system capable of tracking Chilean websites in an efficient manner is designed, which allows building a representative collection of the country, which is then indexed and used to respond to queries entered by users in the search engine. Then, this implementation is made available through a web server called Inquiro. The most significant results are the level of representation of Chilean sites, since practically the enࢢre collection corresponds to sites in Chile. It is also obtained that the ranking algorithm obtains a level of accuracy and competitive performance with respect to similar search engines. As a final result, this system will also allow the execution of future high impact experiments and research.
