Abstract
A digital transformation process was devised and implemented for the Inspira STEAM program, tailored to the Chilean culture and its circumstances in light of the existing restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim was to address the shortcomings experienced in 2020. This involved collaborative work with a professional teacher named Yennyfer Pizarro, who contributed pedagogical insights to the material, thus necessitating modifications within the process. Consequently, new tools were designed for the planning and development of sessions by the mentors, involving alterations to existing documentation and the creation of a management system tailored to the program's needs and the available resources during the pandemic. A structured framework was established for the materials provided to the mentors, accompanied by training sessions on the implemented changes. This initiative succeeded in reducing session planning and preparation times, optimizing the process for the mentors, and mitigating any dissatisfaction expressed by students and institutions regarding the program.
