Abstract
La consultora de servicios de propiedad minera es un proyecto de emprendimiento reciente que empezó sus actividades en abril del año 2013, luego de captar los primeros clientes para comercializar la acreditación de su fundador como perito minero. Las oportunidades presentadas abrieron las perspectivas de comenzar un proceso de diversificación y forma de extender los servicios de forma comercial y estratégica. Hoy en día la consultora extiende los servicios como persona natural y el paso natural es constituir una empresa comercial de servicios como persona jurídica con el fin de hacer uso de las franquicias y escudos financieros que la ley en Chile extiende como incentivos a las empresas. El crecimiento durante estos dos años ha sido sostenido y es factor clave para decidir el desarrollo de la cartera de productos y profesionalización de los procesos. El acto de emprendimiento involucra sobre todas las cosas enfrentar un escenario de riesgo e incertidumbre en el cual el punto crítico es el captar los primeros clientes y generar los ingresos suficientes en la primera etapa para continuar las actividades. Es así como antes de llevar a ejercicio el desarrollo del emprendimiento es necesario determinar de forma acertada el tipo de producto que se comercializa, cual es el segmento de mercado y sus características, mercado potencial, crecimiento de la industria, desafíos a afrontar y lo más importante la forma como se actuará ante todas estas variables. El trabajo presente tiene como objetivo principal el definir un Modelo de Negocios que permita a la consultora de servicios de propiedad minera seguir comercializando sus servicios de una manera que sea sostenible y competitiva en el largo plazo y sea posicionada en los próximos años como un actor importante dentro de su giro de consultoría. Antes de todo se debe mencionar que el producto de propiedad minera es casi desconocido para el común de las personas, por lo tanto, lo primero que se debe comentar es que es la propiedad minera. Existen definiciones formales que explican de forma detallada su naturaleza, sin embargo, en términos simples son los permisos que obtiene un interesado para explorar o explotar los recursos minerales de una superficie en particular. Como primer paso al determinar las características del producto se observa que se está en presencia de una línea de productos que forman parte de los servicios y, a través del análisis de oferta y demanda, se observó que es un producto de consumo no masivo y que la oferta general entre sus oferentes es muy homogénea, con casi nulas diferencias entre uno y otro. El reemplazo a otro proveedor por parte de los clientes se realiza sin ningún costo de cambio y sin mayores motivaciones por permanecer con el mismo proveedor. Los consumidores actuales de la consultoría de propiedad minera es un segmento técnico muy específico que son principalmente las compañías mineras y de generación eléctrica con tecnología ERNC (Energías Renovables No Convencionales) que por intermedio de los profesionales a cargo de sus proyectos buscan en el mercado a los proveedores de consultoría de propiedad minera, constituir la concesión minera en las superficies de proyecto.
The consultancy services of mining property is an entrepreneurship project that started in April 2013, after attracting clients for commercializing the accreditation of its founder as mining expert. The opportunities presented opened prospects to start a process of diversification and start a way of expanding the services, commercially and strategically speaking. Today, the consultancy expands its services to individuals and its objective is to build a commercial service company as a legal entity, in order to use franchises and financial shields that the law in Chile gives, as incentives, to companies. The growth has been sustained over the last two years, and it is a key for deciding the development of product portfolios and professionalization of processes. First and foremost, the act of entrepreneurship involves facing a scenario of risk and of uncertainty in order to attract the first customers and to generate enough revenue in the first stage, for then continue with the activities. Therefore, prior to develop entrepreneurship, it is necessary to determine, wisely, the type of product, the market segment in which the products are going to be sold and their characteristics, potential market, industry growth, the challenges that will be faced and, most importantly, the way to act before all these variables. The present work aims at defining a business model that allows consultancy services of mining property, continue marketing their services in a way that can be sustainable and competitive in the long term and with the objective of being positioned in the near future, as a major player within its business consulting. First of all, it should be mentioned that the product of mining property is almost unknown to most people, so the first thing to be explained is the definition of mining property. There are formal definitions of what it is, but in simple terms, mining property makes reference to permits that are obtained by interested people for exploring or exploiting mineral resources in a particular area. As a first step, after mentioning the characteristics of the product, it is observed that we are before a line of products that are part of the services and, through the analysis of supply and demand, it was observed that these are not massive consumer products and the overall offers among its suppliers is very homogeneous, with almost no differences between the two. The replacement from another supplier by customers is done at no change cost and without major motivations for staying with the same provider. Today's consumers of consulting mining property is a very specific technical segment, which are mainly mining and power generation technology companies URE (Non-Conventional Renewable Energies), that through professionals in charge of their projects, look for consulting mining property providers to constitute the mining concession in the project areas.
