Abstract
El curso de programación que imparte la Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María busca que los estudiantes de la universidad puedan aprender los conceptos básicos de programación en Python. El curso se compone de actividades individuales relacionadas con la materia, tales como tareas, evaluaciones, actividades de ayudantía, etc. Se ha considerado que la falta de participación entre compañeros puede disminuir la motivación de los estudiantes. En este documento, se presentará una solución de programación de a pares, en donde los estudiantes podrán resolver ejercicios de programación en parejas, aumentando la participación entre estudiantes y la búsqueda de soluciones en parejas. Los estudiantes que participaron de los laboratorios con la solución propuesta consideraron la experiencia como muy buena en general, además de obtener buenos resultados en la siguiente evaluación individual del curso. Con esta plataforma, los estudiantes podrán trabajar en equipos y mantener la motivación necesaria para cursar exitosamente el ramo.
The programming course offered by the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María for the university students to learn the basic concepts of programming in Python. The course consists of individual activities related to the subject, such as assignments, evaluations, tutoring activities, etc. It has been considered that a lack of participation among peers can decrease student motivation. This document will present a pair programming solution, where students will be able to solve programming exercises in pairs, increasing participation among students and the search for solutions together. Students who participated in the labs with the proposed solution considered the experience to be very good overall, in addition to achieving good results in the subsequent individual evaluation of the course. With this platform, students will be able to work in teams and maintain the necessary motivation to successfully complete the course.
