Abstract
Today, globally and locally, we face two major problems: on the one hand, climate change, and on the other, a sick population. Both are the result, in essence, of the disconnection of the human being with its own nature, and with the environment, its cycles and rhythms. Therefore, the main intention of the project is to build a habitat of connection with nature, with others and ourselves (full connection). In this sense, a center for yoga retreats is presented as an anchor program and a therapy center as a complementary program. The project also contributes in its local context (Navidad district, VI region), diversifying the special-interest tourism offer and contributing with risk-mitigation tools. Traditionally, in Yoga centers teachers, students and guests coexist by building a community. So, as you are going to learn and not only consume services, it is normal for people to stay in the place for a month or more. Due to the foregoing and due to the requirements of the habitat for the practice, the theme of intimacy becomes important. In that sense the problem arises: What are the essential elements to accommodate privacy in a collective meeting space? From the research, it is concluded, broadly speaking, that the elements are different layers, either connecting or disconnecting the user to the intimate or public space, sensory-wise. All this is reflected in a multiscale manner.
