dc.description.abstractForest Group published a report related to the effects of latency on e-commerce sites: the report shows that over 40% of visitors do not wait more than 3 seconds to display a page, 80% of visitors do not come back after a bad experience, and 15% of customers go to the competition when they think than the display of the information is too slow. This behavior is not specific to users of e-commerce sites, users are becoming increasingly impatient on the Internet and they are particularly critical to new services. The only way to launch a new service and ensure a good quality of services is to perform a series of tests, of the most detailed and realistic way possible. The large number of protocols and devices on the network and the dramatic increase in the throughput has led to the increased complexity of the test tools. In this context, we have developed a test tool to replace the work, made so far by several equipments, in order to simplify the test process and reduce their costs. Specifically the tool must be able to inject media stream (RTP), for testing VoIP platforms. On the other hand, this tool must be able to communicate with a second tool that will be responsible for making the signalling flow. Due to the high bandwidths required, the tool was developed on a powerful multi core server.es_CL
