Abstract
Actualmente un problema constante en el proceso Kraft [8] es el ensuciamiento de la unidad eva-
poradora [7], el cual es provocado por la cristalización de licor negro [9] en sus paredes internas,
provocando una obstrucción al paso de flujo, y sin mantenimiento adecuado implica una pausa del
proceso, generando pérdidas importantes en la producción, fenómeno que se produce cuando este
subproducto alcanza una densidad, temperatura y porcentaje de sólidos determinados.
Esta memoria de titulación pretende dar a conocer el diseño y el montaje de una planta a baja es-
cala que represente el módulo evaporador del proceso Kraft con ayuda de un equipo profesional y
especialistas, de tal forma de presentar un escenario donde un operador, el investigador, a través
de un interfaz pueda determinar las condiciones en las cuales se presenta esta cristalización de
licor negro dentro del evaporador en base a un sistema automático fácil de operar y que al mismo
tiempo tenga protocolos de seguridad a nivel de hardware y software, ya que el licor negro puede
llegar a operar a más de 100°C y presiones altas.
