Abstract
The thesis presents a value propose in the area of developing a maintenance model for the extraction process with semi autonomus LHD, for the subterrain mine, that allows to capture al the technique end economic potential, that provides autonomous technologies. The developed model stablishes eight stages. These ones go from a mission and vision statement of the company in stage one, until the “actives retirement” by stage eight.During all the sequence development in the different stages of the model we reach “transform the priority of the business in priority of maintenance”, putting in line company objectives with LHD semi-autonomous sub terrain extraction system (LSASES) objectives. The model is valid through the application in a pilot test done in one of the Chilean mine companies who took the option in trying this technology. The apply of the model in the different stages require maintenance plans, for those equipments seen as more critical, and according to methodology, RCM should be applied, from its apply, maintenance activities are generated, those make possible reach the available level required in the business plan, all thow, the EBIT required by the owner. The model, stablish bases and include, the need CEO perspective, to get close at the system real conduct, that doesn’t permit function failure, reaching maintenance excellence and includes, a continue pursuit of been better as an essential element.
