Abstract
Robotracer is a category of robotic competition, born in Japan in 1986, whose popularization has reached Latin America. The robots that participate in this category are in strict rigor, autonomous small-scale vehicles, that must travel a track in the shortest possible time, complying with the established regulations. The study of these robots, proposed a mechatronic challenge in the developers, where they face complex design problems, ranging from essentially physical aspects, such as the modeling of robot dynamics, mechanical aspects such as traction systems, electronic aspects and computer science, such as microcontroller programming and communication with sensors and transducers. To cover all the issues raised above, this memory is separated into five chapters. The first chapter, talks about the state of the art of Robotracer, where it will be defined what is a Robotracer, and will show the regulation that governs them. Finishing will show and analyze slightly the most influential robots of this category until 2017, from the development of a ranking of the last four years of the competition "All Japan Robotracer Contest". In the second chapter a custom design of a Robotracer will be proposed, considering mechanical, electrical and electronic aspects, whose dynamic study will be carried out in chapter three. The third chapter will describe analytically the dynamics of the robotracer previously proposed, defining how the ideal movement would theoretically be, so that in the fourth chapter of this memory the algorithm of movement of the robot is proposed, so that it behaves in an ideal way. In the fifth chapter, the results obtained will be discussed, and improvements to the model made will be proposed.
