Abstract
El Tranque de la Luz es un cuerpo de agua artificial ubicado en Placilla, Valparaíso. En un comienzo, se construyó con el propósito de alimentar la Central Hidroeléctrica El Sauce, pero hoy en día es un punto de encuentro, donde la comunidad lo utiliza para realizar actividades al aire libre y sociales.
En el presente proyecto se lleva a cabo el desarrollo de una propuesta que considera a la naturaleza y la vida sana, protagonizando al tranque y su entorno. Se busca recuperar y crear nuevos espacios de uso público, que integren el remo y la recreación, donde la comunidad conviva de forma activa, y al mismo tiempo,pasiva con el ecositema del Tranque la Luz.
Tranque de la Luz is an artificial body of water located in Placilla, Valparaíso. At the beginning, it was built with the purpose of feeding the El Sauce Hydroelectric Power Plant, but today it is a meeting point, where the community uses it for outdoor and social activities. In the present project, the development of a proposal that considers nature and healthy life is carried out, starring the dam and it’s environment. It seeks to recover and create new spaces for public use, integrating rowing and recreation, where the community coexists actively and, at the same time, passively with the ecosystem of Tranque de la Luz.
