dc.description.abstractAl igual que en la tendencia mundial, nuestro país posee un parqueautomotriz en constante crecimiento. Además de consumir combustiblepara su funcionamiento, los automóviles deben contar con una correctalubricación de su motor. Así, el aceite lubricante de motor es el suministromás importante después del combustible, teniendo un mercado en laRegión del Biobío que asciende a alrededor de 10 millones de litrosproyectados al presente año.En este contexto y a partir del año 2017 entrará en vigencia la Ley 20.920del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente fue promulgada el 17 de mayo del 2016 ymás conocida como Ley de Responsabilidad Extendida al Productor, quetiene por objeto disminuir la generación de residuos y fomentar sureutilización, reciclaje y otro tipo de valorización, a través de la instauraciónde la responsabilidad extendida del productor. Todo esto con el claroobjetivo de proteger la salud de las personas y el medio ambiente.En función en lo anterior, la presente tesina hace una propuesta devalorización energética de aceites lubricantes usados de motor para cumplirobligaciones de la ley 20.920 en la región del Biobío, proponiendo comoprincipal modelo de negocio la comercialización de Diesel Like Fuelproducido por una Planta de Tratamiento de Aceites Lubricantes Usados(ALU), cuya tecnología se basa en proceso de pirólisis de los aceites demotor recuperados.El modelo de negocios propuesto para el mercado energético regionalconsidera la comercialización de la producción de DLF para ser utilizadacomo combustible para las partidas de las Termoeléctricas a carbón y abiomasa que operan en la región del Biobío.La evaluación económica de la implementación de esta propuesta, concluyeque una planta de capacidad de tratamiento de 15 ton/día de ALUrentabiliza los niveles de inversión para distintos escenarios de proyecciónde precio del Diesel.es_CL
dc.description.abstractAs in the world trend, our country has a growing automobile park. In additionto consuming fuel for their operation, cars must have a proper lubrication oftheir engine. Thus, engine lubricating oil is the most important supply afterthe fuel, having a market in the Biobío Region that amounts to about 10million liters projected this year.In this context and from the year 2017 will enter into force Law 20,920 of theMinistry of Environment was promulgated on May 17, 2016 and betterknown as the Law of Extended Responsibility to Producer, which aims toreduce the generation of waste and promote its Reuse, recycling and othervaluation, through the establishment of extended producer responsibility. Allthis with the clear goal of protecting the health of people and theenvironment.Based on the foregoing, this thesis proposes the energy valorization of usedmotor lubricating oils to comply with obligations of law 20,920 in the Biobíoregion, proposing as a main business model the commercialization of DieselLike Fuel produced by a Plant Of Used Lubricating Oil Treatment (ALU),whose technology is based on pyrolysis process of recovered motor oils.The proposed business model for the regional energy market considers thecommercialization of DLF production to be used as fuel for the coal andbiomass thermoelectric plants operating in the Biobío region.The economic evaluation of the implementation of this proposal, concludesthat a treatment plant of 15 ton / day of ALU yields the investment levels fordifferent scenarios of Diesel price projection.eng
