Abstract
In the healthcare field, the golden hour is defined as the critical period between the occurrence of a severe accident and the subsequent 60 minutes. During this interval, timely medical intervention can mean the difference between life and death, making rapid and effective assistance essential. In 2010, the ERPHA project emerged with the goal of improving pre-hospital care by enabling the transmission of vital signs to healthcare professionals at the destination facility. However, over time, the lack of continuous support and the use of technologies that are now obsolete have significantly affected the project's functionality and relevance. This work proposes the development of a modernized server for web and mobile applications, inspired by the original ERPHA project. The designed architecture is based on a publish-subscribe communication model using the MQTT protocol with TLS support, integrating a centralized and secure broker, a data reception module, a RESTful API for controlled queries, and two complementary databases (InfluxDB for temporary storage and MongoDB for persistence). Additionally, the project includes simulation modules for both measurement and monitoring, along with an intuitive graphical interface that facilitates interaction with the system. Tests conducted in a controlled environment validated the correct functionality of the server, demonstrating its ability to transmit data in real time, ensure information security, and provide access to historical data. The results confirm that the proposed solution lays the foundation for future implementations in real-world environments, aimed at optimizing pre-hospital communication and improving medical care in emergency situations.
