ANÁLISIS DEL NEGOCIO ELÉCTRICO ASOCIADO A EMBALSES DE RIEGO EN CHILE

Abstract

En este estudio se realizaron evaluaciones de los proyectos hidroeléctricos asociados a embalses de riego existentes y proyectados en Chile. También se analizó la factibilidad normativa, técnica y económica, estimando los aportes potenciales con una problemática asociada a las restricciones que impone el uso múltiple de generación y riego. Se comprobaron, además, que los resultados no afectaran los indicadores económicos y viabilidad del negocio conjunto. Las conclusiones de este trabajo servirán para revisar el negocio conjunto de energía y riego, en un momento en que ambos mercados por separado presentan disyuntivas y problemáticas para avanzar en el desarrollo de infraestructura de embalses, atrasando obras necesarias para el desarrollo futuro del país. Regulatory, technical and economic feasibility was also analysed, considering the potential contributions to a problem associated with the restrictions imposed by the multiple use of generation and irrigation. They also found that the results do not affect economic indicators and feasibility of the joint venture. The conclusions of this work will serve to review the set of energy and irrigation business, at a time when both markets separately present dilemmas and problems to advance the development of infrastructure of reservoirs, delaying works necessary for future development.
