COMPUTACIÓN EMERGENTE PARA LA RESOLUCIÓN DEL PROBLEMA DE RELOCALIZACIÓN DE CONTAINERS

Abstract

El Problema de Relocalización de Containers, es un problema de optimización combinatoria de alta complejidad. Fue desarrollado con el fin de mejorar los tiemposy la eficiencia en la manipulación de containers, al momento de su importación o exportación.La idea principal es generar una secuencia de movimientos que permitan,de manera eficaz y eficiente, despejar la bahía en la que se encuentran almacenados.En este trabajo de tesis, se presentarán las condiciones y especificaciones de dos delas principales variantes del problema. También, se introducen las investigacionesmás recientes sobre el tema, y cómo éstas han abordado el problema de Relocalizaciónde Containers. Posteriormente, se proponen dos algoritmos de búsqueda local,los cuales emplean heurísticas especializadas del problema. Finalmente, se presentanlos resultados obtenidos de las implementaciones de los algoritmos propuestos sobreun diverso conjunto de instancias.

The Container Relocation Problem, is a high complexity combinatorial optimizationproblem. It was developed with the final purpose of improving the time andefficiency on the container handling, at the moment of importation or exportation.The main idea is to generate a movement sequence that allows, effectively and efficiently,to clear the bay where they had been stored. In this thesis, the conditionsand specifications of two of the main variant of the problem will be presented. Also,the most recent researches about the topic will be introduced, and how this hasbeen approached to the Container Relocation problem. Later, two algorithms of localsearch will be proposed, which employ specialized heuristics of the problem. Finally,the obtained results through the two implementations of the proposed algorithmswill be introduced over a diverse instance set.
