ENVEJECIMIENTO DEMOGRÁFICO Y SU RELACIÓN CON EL GASTO FISCAL.

Abstract

En presente trabajo de Tesis se realiza una revisión de la literatura con el objetivo de determinar la influencia del fenómeno del envejecimiento demográfico en Chile y como este se relaciona con el gasto fiscal. Para esto se procede a estudiar los indicadores económicos y los factores que se ven afectados por el envejecimiento poblacional para de esta manera poder determinar su efecto sobre el gasto en salud y el financiamiento de esta. Se estudiara la experiencia internacional en relación al tema, para terminar planteando una serie de propuestas que busquen hacer frente a las consecuencias del cambio demográfico que afecta a Chile y el mundo.

In this thesis work, a review of the literature is carried out to determine the influence of the phenomenon of demographic aging in Chile and how it is related to fiscal spending. For this, its necessary to study economic indicators and the factors that are affected by population aging to determine its effect on health spending and on how it is financed. Also, the international experience in relation to the subject will be studied, to end by proposing a series of proposals that seek to face the consequences of the demographic change that affects Chile and the world.
