Abstract
El estudio que se realizó en la gestión de bodegas e inventarios tuvo como propósito que se optimicen la gestión en esta área de almacenamiento esto por medio de diagnósticos detallados una correcta identificación de los problemas y diseño de una propuesta para mejorar y reducir errores. Se detectaron errores alrededor del 26% que provenían principalmente del desorden y deficiencia. Con la utilización de herramientas como los diagramas de Pareto e Ishikawa se pueden determinar las causas principales que impactaban en esta eficiencia. Por lo que se aplicó una propuesta que pudo permitir la reducción de los tiempos de búsqueda en un 30%, incrementar la disponibilidad de insumos críticos alrededor de un 90% y poder alcanzar ahorros de hasta un 15% anual en costos de operación. En lo que respecta a costos económicos se calculó la inversión en las mejoras físicas y posibles capacitaciones representando costos iniciales de un 8% del presupuesto anual de la bodega con un retorno que se proyecta en menos de 2 años. La reorganización del espacio y los costos de inventario lograron fortalecer la productividad reduciendo desperdicios y elevando la confiabilidad en los registros. Con lo que se puede concluir que el diseño de esta propuesta logró ser fundamentales para poder mejorar y garantizar una sostenibilidad y la competencia de la empresa en un largo tiempo.
The study conducted on warehouse and inventory management aimed to optimize management in this storage area through detailed diagnostics, accurate problem dentification, and the design of a proposal to improve and reduce errors. Approximately 26% of errors were detected, primarily due to clutter and deficiencies. Using tools such as Pareto and Ishikawa charts, the root causes impacting this efficiency were determined. Therefore, a proposal was implemented that resulted in a 30% reduction in search times, an increase in the availability of critical inputs by approximately 90%, and savings of up to 15% annually in operating costs. Regarding economic costs, the investment in physical improvements and potential training was estimated to represent initial costs of 8% of the warehouse's annual budget, with a projected return on investment of less than two years. The reorganization of space and inventory costs resulted in increased productivity by reducing waste and increasing the reliability of records. From which we can conclude that the design of this proposal is essential to improve and guarantee the sustainability and competitiveness of the company in the long term.
