Abstract
La presente tesis trata sobre la aplicación de la metodología de gestión empresarial
Cuadro de Mando Integral (CMI), dentro de una empresa multinacional con actividad local
dedicada a la consultoría especialista en el desarrollo, manejo y protección ambiental de
los recursos hídricos en Chile. Este análisis se desarrolla durante el período 2012.
Esta metodología es considerada como una gran herramienta en el área de gestión
estratégica. Además, esta metodología facilita a las empresas a realizar el cambio
organizacional y enfocar de una mejor manera sus objetivos, los mismos que estarán de
acuerdo a la estrategia que quieren seguir [KAP97]. Desde su aparición se ha convertido
en una herramienta cada vez más utilizada por reconocidas corporaciones internacionales,
las cuales han obtenido excelentes resultados. La capacidad de ordenar y dirigir las
acciones hacia la consecución de los objetivos de las organizaciones son variables que hoy
pocos discuten.
Schlumberger Water Service Chile Limitada (SWS Chile Ltda.) puede realizar sus
actividades de mejor manera, desde el punto de vista de su gestión y administración. Para
ello, con la ayuda del plan estratégico de la empresa, se evalúa las formas de optimizar sus
actividades y direccionarlas hacia las estrategias planteadas, e introducir a todos los
miembros de la organización para que sean partícipes de estas nuevas estrategias.
El objetivo final de este trabajo es elaborar un CMI que pueda ser utilizado y aplicado por
SWS Chile Ltda. en un futuro cercano. Para lograrlo se definieron teóricamente los
aspectos más relevantes que involucran a un Cuadro de Mando Integral de una manera
clara y concisa, para así dar a conocer los beneficios de éste. Luego se elaboraron y
ordenaron los objetivos e indicadores pertenecientes a cada perspectiva que componen el
Cuadro de Mando Integral (CMI).
This thesis deals with the application of business management methodology Scorecard (BSC) within a multinational company with local business consultancy dedicated to specialist in the development, management and environmental protection of water resources in Chile. This analysis was developed during 2012. This methodology is considered to be a great tool in the area of strategic management. Furthermore, this methodology enables companies to make organizational change and a better way to focus your goals, they will agree that the strategy they want to continue [KAP97]. Since its appearance has become a tool increasingly used by well-known international corporations, which have achieved excellent results. The ability to organize and direct the actions towards achieving the objectives of the organizations are variables that few dispute today. Schlumberger Water Service Chile Limitada (Chile Ltda. SWS) can perform their activities better, from the point of view of management and administration. To do this, with the help of the company's strategic plan, we assessed the ways to optimize their activities and route them to the strategies proposed, and to introduce to all members of the organization to be participants in these new strategies. The objective of this work is to develop a BSC that can be used and applied by Chile Ltda. SWS in the near future. To achieve defined theoretically relevant aspects involving a Balanced Scorecard in a clear and concise in order to publicize the benefits of it. Then he produced and arranged the targets and indicators pertaining to each perspective that make up the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).
