MODELO DE MADUREZ PARA RESIDUOS SÓLIDOS DOMICILIARIOS

Abstract

Este trabajo consiste en la creación y la validación de un Modelo de Madurezpara mejorar la Gestión de Residuos Sólidos Domiciliarios en Chile. El modeloconsiste en una jerarquía de 3 Dominios (Institucionalidad, Recursos y Gestión), cadauno cuenta con 3 Subdominios (9 en total) y un total de 33 variables críticas, lascuales cada una tiene 4 Niveles de Capacidad. Este modelo se levantó en unaplataforma web que fue adaptada según los requerimientos propios del modelo y delCentro Económico y Ambiental de Residuos Sólidos (CEARS) perteneciente a laUTFSM. En este software se pudo validar el modelo y obtener el resultado de lasMunicipalidades que participaron en el proceso de evaluación.

This work involves the creation and validation of a maturity model to improveResidential Solid Waste Management in Chile. The model consists of a hierarchy of 3Domains (Institutions, Resources and Management), each with 3 Subdomains (9 intotal) and a total of 33 Critical Variables, each of which has 4 Capacity Levels. Thismodel was implemented in a web platform that was adapted according to the specificrequirements of the model and the Economic and Environmental Center Solid Waste(CEARS) belonging at UTFSM. With this software it was possible to validate themodel and get the result of the Municipalities that participated in the evaluationprocess.
