Un adecuado sistema de transporte es fundamental para una ciudad, por lo que es degran importancia el equilibrio de este, el cual contribuye al buen funcionamiento delnúcleo urbano, permitiendo así una mejor relación entre los distintos sistemas que locomponen.La importancia de un sistema de transporte consiste en que este es el que permite eltraslado de los habitantes de distintos asentamientos, así como también elintercambio e interactividades que se llevan a cabo dentro de un centro urbano o rural.Este es el mecanismo que permite la movilidad del sistema, la cual es esencial para eldesarrollo social y urbano de una ciudad.De esta manera se generan nuevas oportunidades, las cuales fomentan el crecimientoy desarrollo de la ciudad, el cual se ve directamente reflejado en una mejora en lacalidad de vida de sus habitantes.Por esta razón es de gran importancia que una ciudad cuente con un sistema detrasporte adecuado, el cual pueda satisfacer las necesidades de sus habitantes,mediante un servicio amplio, variado y consolidado.
