REHABILITACION SUSTENTABLE EDIFICIO PATRIMONIAL MERCADO PUERTO VALPARAISO

Abstract

Esta memoria describe en 4 pasos el proceso realizado para el desarrollo de este proyecto de título.El tema de Titulo es un proyecto de arquitectura y corresponde a una rehabilitación sostenible del edificiopatrimonial Mercado Puerto de Valparaíso, la elección de este tema viene del reconocimiento de unasituación relevante en la ciudad de Valparaíso, y que tiene que ver la situación del patrimonio de la ciudad yel carácter de los proyectos de rehabilitación que se están realizando.En una primera parte se realizaron los estudios previos a la selección del caso, el que fue definido altérmino de esta parte, para esto se recopilo información relevante al tema de patrimonio, estado de laedificación en la ciudad, sustentabilidad y rehabilitación de edificios antiguos, para determinar cómo estosconceptos podrían coexistir y desarrollarse en una propuesta coherente y viable, para concluir con laselección en este caso, del edificio Mercado Puerto.La segunda Parte, considero la realización del diagnóstico de la condición histórica, estructural yarquitectónica en la que se encuentra el edificio. Parte de este proceso considero determinar los problemasy o las virtudes del edificio para generar oportunidades de diseño y definir las alternativas de partidogeneral y programa.La tercera partes, corresponde a las observaciones y constataciones obtenidas de otros proyectos einstancias relevantes (casos de estudio), de ellas, las afirmaciones y las directrices de diseño para elproyecto.La cuarta y última corresponde a la propuesta, es aquí donde se definieron los objetivos específicos, lasestrategias de diseño y finalmente se realizó el diseño de la intervención.

This report describes the process in four steps undertaken for the development of this project title.The topic of this report is an architectural project and corresponds to a heritage building sustainablerehabilitation of Valparaiso Mercado Puerto, the choice of this topic comes from the recognition of arelevant situation in the city of Valparaíso, which is about the situation of heritage city and nature ofrehabilitation projects being undertaken.The first part, studies were conducted prior to the selection of the case, which was defined at the end ofthis part, information was collected for this, relevant to the topic of heritage status of the building in thecity, sustainability and rehabilitation of old buildings, to determine how these concepts can coexist anddevelop in a coherent and workable, concluding with the selection in this case, the building MercadoPuertoThe second part, consider making the diagnosis of the historical condition, structural and architectural inwhich the building is located. Part of this process determine the problems and consider the virtues of thebuilding to generate design opportunities and define the general Master plan alternative program.The third part, corresponds to observations and findings obtained from other relevant projects andinstances (case studies), of them, were generated statements and design guidelines for the project.The fourth and last is the proposal, here defined specific objectives, design strategies and finally to thedesign of the intervention.
