Abstract
El proyecto de una futura central hidroeléctrica fundada al pie del embalse Chironta, considera ocupar las obras de conducción del embalse, proyecto de riego licitado por el MOP, lo que implica una gran disminución de los costos. Sin embargo, como se tiene certeza de que el cambio climático está ocurriendo, no es posible asegurar de que la energía media vendible obedezca a los patrones meteorológicos de los últimos decenios. Lo cual introduce una incertidumbre respecto a la viabilidad económica del proyecto, importante de definir. Para analizar el efecto del cambio climático se utilizaron los datos meteorológicos disponibles de los estudios realizados por la NASA y por el Departamento de Geofísica de la Universidad de Chile. El primero de estos corresponde al proyecto NEX-GDDP, en el cual se realiza un escalamiento estadístico del modelo GFDL-ESM2G en una grilla de 25 [km] x 25 [km]. El segundo corresponde al proyecto Anillos SOC-28, que utiliza un escalamiento dinámico del modelo PRECIS-ECHAM5 en una grilla similar a la nombrada. The project of a future hydroelectric power station than has been founded at the foot of the reservoir Chironta, considers to occupy the works of conduction of the reservoir, an irrigation project bidden by the MOP, which implies a great decrease of the costs. However, since then is certainty that the climate change is happening and in this point, is not possible to ensure that the average salable energy follows the meteorological patterns of the last decades, which introduces an uncertainty regarding to the economic viability of the project, than it result important to define whit it.To analyze the effect of the climate change, It was used an available meteorological data from studies than was conducted by NASA and by the Geophysics Department of the University of Chile. The first one of these belongs to the project NEX-GDDP, which realizes a statistical downscaling of the model GFDL-ESM2G in a grid of 25 [km] x 25 [km]. The second one corresponds to the project Anillos SOC-28, which uses a dynamical downscaling of the model PRECIS-ECHAM5 in a grid of 25 [km] x 25 [km]. This information is downscaled using the registered available values in order to avoid an estimation out of the measured data range...
