Abstract
This project focused on the development of an improvement for Imova's virtual simulators, based on a virtual reality class planning system. The aim was to provide a gamified method using puzzle construction mechanics to connect learning objectives with activities available in the virtual simulator. A comprehensive investigation was conducted using ethnographic techniques in the target user environment, involving observations at project-relevant points of interest and interviews with both experienced and inexperienced virtual reality teachers. To strengthen the necessary research stage, the user-centered design methodology was employed, involving teachers from the beginning of the design process. The resulting solution is a class planning system that allows the creation of new plans based on learning objectives set by the teacher. It encompasses the overall framework of a class, including all participants, assigning activities, roles for the teacher, and projecting possible emotions in participants. Future steps were identified related to prototype development in virtual platforms, aiming to facilitate the handling of elements and approach the concept of the virtual reality solution
