CREACIÓN HERRAMIENTA PARA LA GENERACIÓN AUTOMÁTICA DE REPORTE DE EVENTOS A PARTIR DE TWITTER

Abstract

The exercise to inform oneself about the news events that occurs day to day has a great relevance just as enables the citizens to participate in a intelligent way in the democratic life. Since 1950, a lot of different perspectives had arisen regarding the social impact that comes along with the process of gatekeeping in the news transmission (that gathers diverse stages of selection, edition and communication of a news event). Some of the other visions propose that the configuration of subjectivity of this events is formed during this process. In this document, a review of the different point of views regarding gatekeeping, the impact of social networks and the different tools that exist today for this effect is presented. Furthermore, a report generator software of the daily news events is presented, with the objective to avoid the gatekeeping process applied by the news media.

El ejercicio de informarse sobre los hechos noticiosos que suceden día a día en el mundo posee una gran relevancia en cuanto habilita a las y los ciudadanos para participar de manera inteligente en la vida democrática. Desde 1950 han surgido distintas visiones referente a los impactos sociales que poseen los procesos de gatekeeping en la trasmisión de noticias (que reúnen las diversas etapas de selección, edición y comunicación de una noticia). Algunas de las cuales plantean que mediante estos procesos se configura la subjetividad que se busca trasmitir a los receptores. En el presente documento se realiza una revisión de las visiones referentes al gatekeeping y el cambio de escenario tras la irrupción de las redes sociales, ademas de las herramientas existentes hoy en día para este efecto, con intenciones de construir un prototipo generador de reportes de hecho noticiosos evitando -lo máximo posible- los procesos de gatekeeping.
