ANÁLISIS CRÍTICO DE LAS POLÍTICAS PRO CRECIMIENTO E IGUALDAD EN CHILE 1970-2012.

Abstract

Esta tesis desarrolla en forma general el tema relacionado con la relación entre el crecimiento económico y la distribución del ingreso, comenzando con un análisis resumido del estado actual a nivel mundial, donde luego se describen específicamente las variables que se utilizarán para el desarrollo de este trabajo. Luego se efectúa un análisis especifico de países que han tenido éxito en la implementación de políticas que permitan avanzar en los temas de equidad y crecimiento. Finalmente, se estudia el estado de Chile, desde 1970 a la fecha, considerando las políticas que se han implementado en estos ámbitos, logrando obtener un análisis presente del tema y considerando como conclusión, políticas que puedan desarrollarse a largo plazo para mejorar el estado económico y social del país.

This thesis develops in a general form the existent relationship between the economic growth and income distribution, beginning with a summarized analysis of the current status worldwide, which later specifically described the variables to be used for the development of this thesis.Then, is performed a specific analysis of countries that have been successful in implementing policies that allow progress on issues of equity and growth.Finally, we study the state of Chile from 1970 to date, considering the policies that have been implemented in these areas, obtaining a present analysis of the topic and considering as conclusion, policies that may develop in the long term, to improve the economic and social status of the country.
