Abstract
En el presente trabajo se realizó una investigación sobre la creatividad y el pensamiento computacional, con la finalidad de analizar y contrastar la creatividad entre dos grupos de estudiantes de un curso de programación utilizando Beauty of Joy of Computing. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una revisión en trabajos pasados para comprender cómo otros autores han definido estos conceptos, y así ver cómo se pueden explorar las posibles relaciones entre ambos. Se investigaron y consideraron diversas metodologías y enfoques para evaluar y fo mentar la creatividad en el contexto del curso de programación. Asimismo, se exploraron diferentes teorías y enfoques relacionados con la motivación, para comprender cómo esta puede influir en el proceso creativo. Por medio de las metodologías investigadas, se eligie ron las que mejor se adecuarán a la planificación del curso y se aplicaron pequeñas modifi caciones en uno de los grupos. Por último, se realiza una comparación entre los resultados obtenidos para determinar el impacto que tuvieron las modificaciones implementadas en la programación de la asignatura
In this work we conducted an investigation on creativity and computational thinking, with the aim of analyzing and contrasting creativity between two groups of students in a pro gramming course using Beauty of Joy of Computing. To achieve this, a review of past work was carried out to understand how other authors have defined these concepts, and to see how possible relationships between the two can be explored. Various methodologies and approaches were investigated and considered to evaluate and promote creativity in the context of the programming course. In addition, different theories and approaches rela ted to motivation were explored to understand how motivation can influence the creative process. Based on the investigated methodologies, those that would best fit the course curriculum were selected and minor modifications were made in one of the groups. Finally, a comparison is made between the results obtained to determine the impact of the modifications implemented in the course schedule
