ALEXANDRIA: web-app platform that stores mobile applications and the result of their analysis from a focus on information privacy

Abstract

Esta tesis propone una aplicación web de descarga de aplicaciones Android centrada en la seguridad. La plataforma tiene como objetivo informar y concientizar a los usuarios sobre el uso de aplicaciones Android y de conceptos informáticos y de ciberseguridad. Esta presenta informes de seguridad realizados a través de análisis estático, y artículos que concientizan a los usuarios sobre dichos temas. La presente investigación propone un prototipo utilizando la metodología de diseño centrado en usuario, donde luego es sometido a pruebas de usabilidad, comprobando con sus usuarios objetivo la interfaz propuesta. This thesis proposes a security-focused web application platform that lets you download Android applications. The platform aims to inform and raise users' awareness about the use of Android applications, and about computer and cybersecurity concepts. It presents security reports made through static analysis, and articles that make users aware of these issues. The present research proposes a prototype using user-centered design methodology, where it is then subjected to usability testing, testing with its target users the proposed interface.
