ESTUDIO Y PROPUESTAS DE MEJORAS TÉCNICAS EN LA PRODUCCIÓN DE UNA PLANTA DE EXTRACCIÓN POR SOLVENTES DE ACEITES VEGETALES

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo proponer mejoras técnicas en la producción de una planta de extracción por solventes de aceites vegetales. Para esto se debe estudiar y analizar el funcionamiento de esta, encontrar condiciones operacionales que presenten un potencial de mejora para realizar un diseño de equipos y simulación del funcionamiento actual para ser contrastado con dichas propuestas. Uno de los productores de aceite vegetal de valor agregado en Chile es TRIOGROUP, empresa de capitales chilenos ubicada en Santiago. Esta empresa presenta un abanico de productos a comercializar, desde aceites funcionales para alimentación animal; neutralización y tratamiento de aceites agotados para su posterior uso en biocombustibles como también aceites vegetales para consumo humano.

This work aims to propose technical improvements in the production of a solvent extraction plant for vegetable oils. To achieve this, it must be studied and analyzed the operation in the plant, find operational conditions that present a potential for improvement to perform an equipment design and simulation of the current operational conditions contrasted with these proposals. One of the value-added vegetable oil producers in Chile is TRIOGROUP, which produces grape seed oil among its products, but this has been losing competitiveness within the vegetable oil market, which is why it is necessary to generate mechanisms that allow improvement on the production of the plant and reposition itself within the market.
