Abstract
La Provincia de San Felipe no cuenta con una sala de cine a pesar de cumplir con las condiciones para poseer una. Con una población de 75,000 habitantes y una falta de lugares de entretenimiento y distracción, la necesidad de opciones de ocio es evidente, especialmente considerando el predominio de la clase media en la población.
La pandemia ha dejado un impacto significativo en la sociedad, aumentando las enfermedades de salud mental, principalmente la depresión. Las personas buscan opciones para entretenerse y salir de sus hogares, y es aquí donde la sala de cine puede ofrecer un espacio de entretenimiento que permita a las personas distraerse y escapar de la rutina.
Este trabajo de memoria se centra en la puesta en marcha, viabilidad y factibilidad de una sala de cine en la ciudad de San Felipe. Se basa en el análisis del mercado, la investigación y una encuesta realizada a habitantes de la provincia mediante un muestreo aleatorio simple. El trabajo se divide en subplanes que permitirán definir de manera clara cada uno de los aspectos importantes para la creación de este cine, abordando planes de operaciones, marketing, recursos humanos, financieros, y concluyendo con una evaluación final.
Los resultados del proyecto relacionados con la factibilidad y el análisis del entorno y contexto de la industria del cine indican que esta está recuperando espectadores de años normales. El mercado en la provincia abarca a 130,000 personas, lo que, según estimaciones, se traduce en la existencia de 1.6 espectadores por habitante.
En cuanto a la viabilidad del proyecto, se realizó un análisis de escenarios, eligiendo el escenario optimista con un VAN cercano a los 114 millones y una TIR del 30%. Con un retorno de inversión del 70% y un payback en 1.8 años, estos indicadores respaldan la viabilidad económica del proyecto.
The province of San Felipe does not have a movie theater despite meeting the conditions to have one, it has 75,000 inhabitants, a lack of places of entertainment and distraction, and the profile of the population is mostly middle class. The pandemic generated a great impact on society, significantly increasing mental health diseases, mainly depression, people have a need to be entertained and get out of their homes, that is where the movie theater comes in to offer people a space for entertainment where they can be distracted and get out of the routine. This memory work focuses on the implementation, viability and feasibility of a movie theater in the city of San Felipe, this through market analysis, research and a survey of inhabitants of the province with simple random sampling, this work will be divided into sub plans that will clearly define each of the important aspects for the creation of this cinema, with plans for operations, marketing, human resources, financial and a final conclusion. The results of the project related to feasibility, the analysis of the environment and context of the film industry indicates that the cinema is regaining the spectators of normal years, the market in the province is 130,000 people, which according to estimates can be translated into 1.6 spectators per inhabitant. Regarding the feasibility of the project, a scenario analysis was carried out where the optimistic scenario was chosen, with an NPV of around 114 million and an IRR of 30%, with a return on investment of 70% and a payback in 1.8 years, these indicators support the economic viability of the project.
