AJUSTE DE LA REGLA DE TAYLOR PARA PROYECTOS EN LATINOAMÉRICA

Abstract

En el año 1968 H.K. Taylor realizó un modelo que relacionaba la vida útil de un proyecto minero y sus reservas mediante un ajuste matemático. Este modelo ha sido actualizado en diversas ocasiones, ajustando sus parámetros y produciendo modelos para proyectos mineros específicos. La última revisión realizada fue el año 2009 por K. Long y desde aquel entonces han transcurrido 11 años. Por otra parte, la tecnología ha evolucionado y con ella la capacidad de producción, de aquí la necesidad de actualizar este modelo. En este estudio se ajustaron los parámetros del modelo de Taylor utilizando proyectos mineros pertenecientes a Latinoamérica. Además, se analizó la variación de los parámetros A y B del modelo y como esto se traduce a la minería. Por último, los parámetros se compararon con las revisiones previas a este estudio, evaluando cuál de los modelos presenta un mejor ajuste a los proyectos actualesIn 1968 H.K. This model has been updated several times, adjusting its parameters and producing models for specific mining projects. The last revision was carried out in 2009 by K. Long and 11 years have passed since then. On the other hand, technology has evolved and with it the production capacity, hence the need to update this model. In this study, the parameters of the Taylor model were adjusted using mining projects in Latin America. In addition, the variation of the A and B parameters of the model and how this translates to mining was analyzed. Finally, the parameters were compared with the revisions prior to this study, evaluating which of the models presents a better fit to the current projects
