Abstract
Because multiple current appliances do not provide a satisfactory User Experience, the development of this project seeks to solve the obsolescence of human-machine interfaces to interact with appliances and related devices; and achieve a scalable system compatible with new technologies that allow its incorporation into different product lines. This report proposes a bidirectional wireless communication system, which allows the sending of a Graphical User Interface from a Emulated Target Device to a Command Device via Bluetooth and with the use of that Graphical User Interface, it is possible to manipulate the Emulated Target Device remotely. In addition, the first system’s prototype is implemented, which consists in a mobile application and a Test Single Board Computer, which uses a couple of applications to establish an AD-HOC network of PAN profile and to emulate a series of expected behaviors of a Generic Electronic Appliance. Finally, in the tests carried out in this system’s prototype, it is possible to validate the possibility of using this scheme to control an emulation of a Generic Electronic Appliance.
