Centro de aprendizaje artístico patrimonial La Unión. Rehabilitación Casa Duhalde

Abstract

El proyecto nace a partir de la idea del Municipio de La Unión (Región de Los Ríos), en buscar un espacio que albergue las diferentes organizaciones culturales y artísticas de la ciudad, y con esto la creación de un Centro Cultural para la comuna. Paralelamente existe un inmueble que tiene características patrimoniales e identitarias para la comunidad local y que históricamente se ha relacionado con actividades culturales, por lo mismo, se presentó la oportunidad de repensar y transformar este espacio como el lugar adecuado para acoger todas estas actividades que a la fecha no tienen un lugar fijo. Por lo tanto, lo que se busca a través de este proyecto es poder replantear la forma de mirar la propuesta de la municipalidad, que no se ha podido concretar, y generar una nueva, entendiendo las necesidades que hoy se presentan en la comunidad con respecto a la cultura y las artes. De esta manera, se busca crear una propuesta de rehabilitación arquitectónica que ponga en valor el edificio a intervenir.

The project originates from the idea of the Municipality of La Unión (Los Ríos Region) to seek a space that houses the different cultural and artistic organizations of the city, thus leading to the creation of a Cultural Center for the community. Simultaneously, there is a building with heritage and identity characteristics for the local community that has historically been associated with cultural activities. This presented the opportunity to rethink and transform this space as the appropriate place to host all these activities, which currently do not have a fixed location. Therefore, the aim of this project is to reconsider the municipality's proposal, which has not yet been realized, and to generate a new one, understanding the current needs of the community regarding culture and the arts This will result in a architectural rehabilitation proposal that enhances the value of the builiding to be intervened.
