Abstract
En la actualidad la generación fotovoltaica conectada a la red se presenta como una alternativa ventajosa desde el punto de vista económico y ambiental frente a las fuentes convencionales de energía. El sistema energético de Chile está basado fundamentalmente en el petróleo, por esta razón se realizan discretos, pero importantes avances en el uso de estas tecnologías. En el trabajo se aborda el diseño de un sistema fotovoltaico conectado a la red (Sistema On Grid), diseñado para alimentar una vivienda unifamiliar en sector rural de Santa Juana, con sus componentes correspondientes y que permitiría disminuir los consumos del centro de la red eléctrica, así como asumir la carga del mismo en caso de desconexión del sistema, durante las horas del día cuando presenta su mayor demanda.
Currently, from an evironmental point of view, renewable energy sources are an advantageous alternative over conventional energy sources. The Chilean electrical power system is based fundamentally in fossil fuels and it’s the reason that advances are being made to try out this renewable energy source. This work illustrates the design of a photovoltaic system grid-connected that will supply electricity to single-family house in rural sector of Santa Juana, this system is meant to reduce the center’s electricity consumption from the main power system and also take its load in case of a power cut or disconnection from the main system during working hours.
