Abstract
This thesis is a complete analysis to acquire a used medium-sized aircraft (ability to ten people) abroad to carry out private charter services and aero medical services from the northern part of Chile. It is expected to carry out flights of two types: private, estimating prices per hour of flight type Block time (from start to stop engines) and also make flights providing medical services on board, which can be awarded through tenders delivered by the state or agreements with private clinics. The aircraft hangar will be located at the Atacama Desert aerodrome (IATA code: CPO, ICAO code: SCAT), therefore the routes expected to be carried out on the cabotage flights are from the north of the country along all Chile, particularly in aero medical services, is expected to fly from the northern part of Chile to Santiago, a región that has the highest standards of technology and advances in medicine in the country before emergencies. In order to be able to acquire all the routes that are desired, the corresponding fees must be paid, the type of aircraft must be specified and all flight plan options must be submitted to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC)It is expected to buy an aircraft abroad due to its high supply and good prices, in order to fly in Chile, so that the aircraft can operate in the country must carry out fully the procedures required by the Chilean aviation regulatory body "DGAC", both to obtain the permit and AMC aeronautical maintenance center, and the first certificate of airworthiness, both described throughout the work and necessary to enable the aircraft to fly without problems. Additionally, a study of the economic feasibility of the project is carried out, conducting a study of the behavior of the future clients and contributions of everything associated to be able to operate the aircraft in Chile. The economic analysis was made over a period of ten years, delivering results that support the fulfillment of the project, supported by the economic indexes suitable for the study of the project.
