Abstract
La presente tesis desarrolla una metodología para la implementación de nuevos productos
para Mesas de Dinero, en atención a que cuando se detecta la necesidad del clientes o se
visualiza una oportunidad de negocio, no siempre las acciones tienen la rapidez u
oportunidad necesaria, lo cual repercute que cuando el producto está terminado y presto a
ser comercializado el cliente desistió de su intención o la oportunidad de negocio ya se
perdió, además de menciona en esta tesis algunos errores u omisiones que se desarrollan
habitualmente al momento de implementar un producto, el papel que debe cumplir la alta
gerencia, los aspectos legales que se deben considerar, los riesgos que se pueden cometer o
estar expuestos, así como la importancia de la planificación y el control que se debe
realizar.
Por otra parte, da a conocer el marco general sobre las actividades que debiesen realizar los
Bancos o instituciones financieras y la normativa que deben cumplir, así como los riesgos
inherentes de una implementación y sus implicancias en la clasificación de gestión y
solvencia, ya que al momento de implementar un producto se debe tener en cuenta que este
afecta procesos y controles.
Por último y en base a lo indagado y al conocimiento del autor como Jefe de Área de
Operaciones Financieras tanto del Banco BBVA como del Banco Security, área la cual da
el soporte operativo de control y visado a las operaciones de la Mesa de Dinero, se entrega
una propuesta metodológica con la finalidad de lograr que los nuevos productos para Mesa
de Dinero sean puestos en marcha de forma adecuada y no solo que cubran los puntos de
vista comerciales u operativos sino que estén bajo la norma regulatoria, en base a lo
anteriormente expuesto, dicha propuesta incluye políticas, roles y responsabilidades, así
como procedimientos y formularios que se deben utilizar en la implementación de nuevos
productos, los cuales fueron puestos en marcha y utilizados como prueba del modelo para
la implementación y comercialización del producto Forward NDF en monedas
latinoamericanas.

Finally and based on the researched and knowledge of the author as Head of Department of Financial Operations of both the Bank BBVA Banco Security, area which provides operational support control and visa operations of the Bureau of money, provides a methodological proposal in order to get new products Money Market are put in place properly and not just covering points commercial or operational view but are under the regulatory standard, based on the above , the proposal includes policies, roles and responsibilities, as well as procedures and forms to be used in the implementation of new products, which were launched and used as a test model for implementation and marketing of the product Forward NDF in Latin American currencies.
