Abstract
La deficiencia lectora en Chile es un fenómeno altamente documentado, especialmente en los últimos años considerando el impacto generado por la pandemia de COVID-19 sobre todos los niveles de educación, con especial énfasis en los alumnos de cursos tempranos como 1° y 2° básico. Es por esto que ARmadillo surge como un emprendimiento digital que busca dar apoyo, tanto a profesores como alumnos, en el ámbito de la enseñanza de la comprensión lectora. Con el objetivo de evaluar la viabilidad técnica y económica de esta propuesta de digitalización del proceso educativo, esta memoria propone diseñar un plan de negocio que permita estructurar su desarrollo, estimar sus requerimientos y beneficios, y reducir riesgos asociados a su implementación.
Reading deficiency in Chile is a highly documented phenomenon, especially in recent years considering the impact generated by the COVID-19 pandemic across all levels of education, particularly among early-grade students in 1st and 2nd grade. In this context, ARmadillo emerges as a digital venture aimed at supporting both teachers and students in the field of reading comprehension instruction. With the objective of assessing the technical and economic feasibility of this proposal for digitizing the educational process, this thesis seeks to design a business plan to structure its development, estimate its requirements and benefits, and to reduce the risks associated with its implementation.
