Abstract
La industria aérea se señala como participante de la economía global ya que forma parte del PIB mundial (3,6%) (ATAG, 2018) y genera millones de empleos (65.5 millones) directa e indirectamente, en consecuencia, la cancelación de las operaciones a nivel global debido al Coronavirus ha sido devastador económicamente, no solo para la industria, sino, para el mundo entero. Para que se retomen las operaciones aéreas a un nivel lo más cercano posible a lo que existía antes de la pandemia es necesario que tanto aeropuertos como líneas aéreas se preparen y promulguen una serie de medidas para evitar el contagio del coronavirus lo que podría incluir el rediseño de procesos señalados como críticos para la transmisión del virus. Actualmente organizaciones de la aviación mundial (ACI, 2020) han emitido ciertas guías para que aeropuertos y aerolíneas retomen sus operaciones, pero lo importante es aplicar aquellas que son más efectivas y factibles.

In order for air operations to resume at a level as close as possible to what existed before the pandemic, it is necessary for both airports and airlines to prepare and enact a series of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus this could include the redesign of processes identified as critical for virus transmission. Currently global aviation organizations (ACI, 2020) have issued certain guides for airports and airlines to resume their operations, but the important thing is to apply those that are more effective and feasible.
