Abstract
El presente trabajo de título establece una propuesta de mejora al programa de mantenimiento de una flota de buses perteneciente al grupo de empresas Grupo de Transporte de Pasajeros (GTP), con el fin de mejorar los principales indicadores de gestión como lo son disponibilidad, pannes en ruta y satisfacción de los clientes de acuerdo a los servicios proporcionados por GTP. La investigación y recopilación de datos se enfoca principalmente en dos de las empresas pertenecientes al grupo, como lo son Turbus y Cóndor, que son compañías bastante reconocidas en Chile por su trayectoria en el rubro del transporte de pasajeros por carretera. Estas empresas comparten un modelo de gestión de mantenimiento común basado en intervenciones correctivas y preventivas, como también comparten los recursos técnicos y humanos, lo que permite comparar el desempeño y así identifica las mejores oportunidades de mejora dentro las flotas del grupo. Para el desarrollo de la propuesta se utiliza una estructura de secuencial de etapas. En primer lugar, se realizó un levantamiento de los antecedentes al sector de transporte, el contexto operacional donde se desempeñan ambas empresas como también las características y condiciones del modelo de trabajo de la gerencia de mantenimiento. A continuación, se realiza un levantamiento de datos en relación con la cantidad y duración de las detenciones en taller además de los indicadores de desempeño del plan de mantenimiento. A partir de los datos se utiliza la metodología AMFEC (Análisis de Modo de Falla, Efectos y Criticidad) para jerarquizar los modos de falla que generan un mayor impacto dentro de la operación de las empresas del grupo GTP, utilizando(...).
This thesis presents a proposal for improving the maintenance program of a bus fleet belonging to the Grupo de Transporte de Pasajeros (GTP), with the purpose of enhancing key management indicators such as availability, on-route failures, and customer satisfaction in relation to the services provided by the company. The research and data collection focused mainly on two of the group’s most representative companies, Turbus and Cóndor, both widely recognized in Chile for their long-standing trajectory in the intercity passenger transport sector. These companies share a common maintenance management model based on corrective and preventive interventions, as well as shared technical and human resources, which allows for a comparative analysis of performance and the identification of improvement opportunities across the fleets of the group. The development of the proposal followed a sequential methodological structure. First, an assessment of the transport sector and the operational context of both companies was carried out, together with a characterization of the maintenance management model currently in use. Subsequently, operational data were collected regarding the frequency and duration of workshop stoppages, as well as the performance indicators of the existing maintenance plan. Based on this information, the Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) methodology was applied to prioritize the failure modes with the greatest impact on fleet operation, using (...).
