ANALISIS DEL TRATADO DE ASOCIACIÓN TRANSPACÍFICO (TPP) EL PACTO ENTRE EEUU, JAPON Y 10 PAÍSES DEL AREA REORIENTA LAS NEGOCIACIONES COMERCIALES

Abstract

En este trabajo de investigación se describen las principales características delAcuerdo de Asociación Transpacífico (TPP, sus siglas en inglés), consideradoel tratado de libre comercio más grande, ya que concentra el 40% 1 delcomercio mundial (Mercado, 2015). Además busca entender su origen, sualcance geográfico y poblacional.Los países que patrocinan esta negociación buscan implementar que losconsumidores deben estar protegidos contra las malas políticas de cadagobierno y no de las compañías, aun cuando esto se interponga a laslegislaciones asociadas a la restricción de su autonomía, debido a cortesjudiciales supranacionales que juzgan los reclamos emitidos contra lasmultinacionales.Una de las encrucijadas es este sentido es saber qué pasará si los gobiernosdeciden subir o bajar considerablemente el salario mínimo, rechazar unproyecto por su impacto ambiental, crear un fondo de jubilación estatal o emitirun proyecto que pudiese afectar los intereses de grandes compañías.La presente investigación plantea un pensamiento crítico a las políticasasociadas al TPP su impacto en las negociaciones comerciales, en laeconomía nacional y sus relaciones exteriores.
