Abstract
Este trabajo explora el uso del sensor RFID YR903 como alternativa al sistema PagoBIP en el transporte público chileno. Se realizaron pruebas considerando cercanía, dispositivo de portabilidad, posicionamiento del sensor e interferencias. Los resultados muestran un alto rendimiento en condiciones ideales y limitaciones ante obstrucciones de señal. Se concluye que la tecnología es viable y escalable, con oportunidades de mejora.

Tests were conducted considering proximity, portability device, sensor positioning, and interference. The results show high performance under ideal conditions and limitations when signal obstructions are present. It is concluded that the technology is viable and scalable, with opportunities for improvement
