dc.description.abstractThe design, development and implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) under ISO 9001, represent a great challenge for higher education institutions, especially for those who teach courses in which the presentiality is not entirely required like the Blended Learning. Therefore, this graduation work aims to provide to the Department of Computer at the University Federico Santa Maria a Quality Management System incorporating the inherent aspects in process management for the planning, implementation and development of virtual courses. The Quality Management System developed, only considers those procedures related within B-Learning courses of the Department of Computer, so it was concluded that is necessary the creation of a sub-organization that allow to apply with integrity the designed QMS.eng
dc.description.abstractEl diseño, elaboración e implementación de un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad (SGC) bajo la Norma ISO 9001, constituye un gran reto para las instituciones de educación superior, especialmente para aquellas que imparten cursos en modalidad Blended Learning en los que la presencialidad no es totalmente requerida. Por lo anterior, la finalidad del presente trabajo es entregar al Departamento de Informática de la Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad que incorporé los aspectos inherentes a la gestión de los procesos de planificación, implementación y desarrollo de cursos no presenciales. El Sistema de Gestión de Calidad elaborado, considera sólo aquellos procedimientos relacionados con los cursos realizados en modalidad B-Learning, por lo que, durante el transcurso del trabajo, se concluye que es necesario crear una sub organización que se dedique a gestionar sólo aquellos cursos semi-presenciales o virtuales. De esta forma, el presente Sistema de Gestión de Calidad podrá ser aplicado e implementado íntegramente en un futuro próximoes_CL
