Departamento de Industrias; Ortega Blu, RodrigoSmall and medium enterprise is essential in Chile for employment. These represent the majority of enterprises, have an outstanding business dynamics, are increasingly contributing to the sector that provides service to larger business or stand alone service. INGESERV is a Chilean small enterprise that provides construction services to large construction companies and real estate businesses mostly around Santiago. It stands over it ́s competitors by backing its services with valuable equipment, experienced supervision and, above all with its customers trust. However, like other small businesses with similar characteristics it has flaws, like the quality of daily workers characterized by informality, low productivity and decreasing share in total sales. The company is aware of such flaws and is willing to do something about. This report carries out a consultancy to INGESERV challenging the above statements, with the main objective of developing and recommends a corporate strategy to its owners, with the purpose of enhancing the professionalism at the administrative level, increase competitive advantages and help reducing the current short comes. The plan is to achieve the main objective by conducting an analysis that includes the instauration of strategy parameters (mission, vision and strategic objectives), and the proposal of a corporate strategy that promotes the creation of new branches of services, a growth in production capacity, infrastructure autonomy, and enhance professionalism at the managerial, administrative and operative levels.
