ENSUCIAMIENTO DE ESPEJOS EN LOCALIDADES CON POTENCIAL PARA INSTALACIÓN DE PLANTAS DE CONCENTRACIÓN SOLAR EN EL NORTE DE CHILE

Abstract

La reflectancia de los espejos solares es afectada principalmente por la acumulación de polvo en su superficie, ya que el polvo produce dispersión y absorción de los rayos solares. La acumulación de polvo depende exclusivamente del sitio estudiado, ya que este interactúa con múltiples variables, tales como, parámetros meteorológicos y climático, entre los cuales se encuentran, la humedad relativa, temperatura del aire, velocidad y dirección del viento, entre otras.

The reflectance of the reflector mirrors is mainly affected by the dust accumulation on its surface, since dust produce dispersion and absorption of the sun’s rays. Dust accumulation is site specific, it is studied an interaction and/or dependence with different weather and meteorological parameters, such as, relative humidity, air temperature, wind speed and direction. For this purpose, there are solar stations, ambiental parameters in each location, and also reflectance measuring.
