Abstract
En la industria de los videojuegos, no existe un proceso o mediciones que permitan determinar con claridad qué elementos influyen para considerar que un videojuego sea de mayor calidad que otro. Esto se debe a que algunos de estos elementos son subjetivos, como el ofrecer un "buen gameplay" o que un juego sea "entretenido". Se propone la aplicación de procesos de control de calidad orientado hacia el producto para el mejoramiento de un prototipo de un videojuego de elaboración propia, de tal forma de mejorar la usabilidad y game feel. Esto involucraría a los usuarios en el proceso para poder brindar la mejor experiencia posible.
In the videogame industry, there is not a process or measurements that allow to clearly determine what elements influence whether a videogame is of higher quality than another. This is because some of these elements are subjective, such as offering a “good gameplay” or that a game is “entertaining”. It is proposed to apply product oriented quality control processes to improve a prototype of a self-made video game, in order to improve usability and game feel. This process would involve the users during the entirety of the process to be able to provide the best possible experience.
