Spence S.A. mining company recently he completed a period of increased productivity program called “Modernization stacking system and recovery mining Spence”, through which various electrical projects were implemented in order to increase the capacity of the conveyor belts located in these areas .These projects included the repowering of incorporation and medium voltage electric motors, which have allowed optimization of the transport process ore, however, has generated a degree of uncertainty as to the safety and reliability of the electricity system power. In this work a model of the power system areas Stacking and Recovery arises through the software ETAP, to make a diagnosis of the current situation and then propose improvements and recommendations if necessary. As part of the study of protection, a technical analysis of the design of the conveyor system is performed in order to identify whether the installed capacity of the transport system is able to meet the new operating condition imposed by the projects to increase productivity. With the above it is to create a tool for analysis of power system operation for new projects in the study area. IV
