Thesis GENERACIÓN DE ESTRATEGIA DEFENSIVA EN ROBOCUP SSL MEDIANTE APRENDIZAJE REFORZADO(Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, 2016) OLLINO ORELLANA, FRANCO FELIPE; OLLINO ORELLANA, FRANCO FELIPE; ALLENDE OLIVARES, HECTOR; Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria UTFSM DEPARTAMENTO DE INFORMATICA; SOLIS CID, MIGUEL ANDRESReinforcement learning is an area of machine learning inspired by behaviorist psychology, concerned with how software agents ought to take actions to achieve some task in a previously unknown environment so as to maximize some notion of cumulative reward, based only on the interaction between the agent and the environment. This paper will focus on a comparative between two reinforcement learning algorithms, where the objective is the development of dynamic, real-time defensive strategies for the RoboCup Small Size League soccer competition, where a set of actions are executed by a centralized agent that controls wirelessly and autonomously all the robots of the team, and where the RoboCup USM team actively participates, from which this study arises (group within the Innovacion y Robotica Estudiantil, formerly known as Centro de Robotica). All of this subject to latency restrictions and environment adaptability.
