    The existence of water tanks systems, as experimental plant in the Automatic Control Laboratory is quite common. This is because it allows, in a simple way, to apply the concepts seen in classrooms, especially due to the simplicity with which the students can identify the dynamics involved. In the other hand, the control loops that are applied in the laboratory are of low complexity, and usually do not consider the influence of the sampling design for each algorithm. The ideas above are the basis of this Title Work, which implements on a water tanks system, digital control algorithms that usually do not leave the blackboard. The proposed objective is implemented in three phases: In the first, the existing water tanks system from an earlier work is redesigned, keeping the instrumentation; in the second, four digital algorithms running in real time on MATLAB are implemented; and third, a generic user interface that allows implementing the proposed algorithms on any plant that meets minimum requirements is built, but with parameters designed by the user. This document contains all the details necessary to understand how the work carried out and the results obtained.
