Departamento de IndustriasThe level of povertyin Chile, and specifically in Metropolitana Regionisfar from being negligible, even more during this time that Chile has observed anincrease in it ́s poverty level. Is because of this, that a little help can make big changes in the population who lives in poverty. To believe in people ́s potentialand support them with education, generate big motivation on them. Because of this, they feel encouraged to take a step further in their economic situation, optimizing their resources and atthe same time generating an increase in their autonomous incomes. On the other hand, the high unemployment ratethat have been presented in this period, because of the economic crisisthat struck Chile in 2009, has generated the needto create new jobs, so entrepreneurship is a way to reduce theses rates. These problems are in many of the Metropolitana Region ́s suburbs, being one of these the suburb called El Bosque, which has a high unemployment rate and it ́s averageyearsof educationare low thannational average. Is because of these that this suburb is an important focus to develop programs which promotes the entrepreneurship. The non governmental organization calledCEPPAC ( Centre of Professionals in the social aid), noticed this necessity and decided to design the program called ̈Ambiente Microempresarial ̈, which will promote the entrepreneurship in El Bosque suburb, through training and mentoring. Through this Project, the entrepreneurs could structure their business plan and at the same time develop it, which will produce on their business an increase in their incomes. The project ́s target market aim tothe socioeconomic classes E and D, which means approximately the 5 first deciles of the society. This program wants to cover the poverty population and the population which are inrisk to get in poverty, which means the closest deciles to poverty1.Is planned to develop this project during 4 consecutive cycles, so at the end of the 4 cycles (2 years and a half of total duration) the projectwould have benefited60 entrepreneurs, which means that 60 families of El Bosque suburb, will increase their incomes substantially.Thesis DISEÑO DE UN PROGRAMA DE APOYO AL MICROEMPRENDIMIENTO EN LA COMUNA DE EL BOSQUE, BASADO EN CAPACITACIONES Y MENTORING.
