Since 1950, a lot of different perspectives had arisen regarding the social impact that comes along with the process of gatekeeping in the news transmission (that gathers diverse stages of selection, edition and communication of a news event). Some of the other visions propose that the configuration of subjectivity of this events is formed during this process. In this document, a review of the different point of views regarding gatekeeping, the impact of social networks and the different tools that exist today for this effect is presented. Furthermore, a report generator software of the daily news events is presented, with the objective to avoid the gatekeeping process applied by the news media.
