Abstract
En este trabajo se presenta el procedimiento para la obtención de las relaciones necesarias para calcular el hidrograma unitario sintético en la zona altiplánica de la XV, I y II región de Chile. Para esto se analiza los registros fluviométricos y pluviográficos de la DGA en la zona, lográndose obtener información confiable para el análisis de 5 cuencas ubicadas en la zona altiplánica de la XV y I región. Por similitud de características de la zona altiplánica en estas regiones, se supone que estas relaciones son aplicables también en la II región.Se presentan las expresiones que relacionan las características geomorfológicas de las cuencas con los parámetros requeridos del hidrograma unitario según el método del hidrograma unitario sintético. Además, se presenta una forma del hidrograma, por medio de un hidrograma adimensional, representativo de las cuencas analizadas. Los coeficientes de correlación obtenidos no marcan una correlación perfecta, pero se presenta una tendencia bastante aceptable como primera aproximación del método en la zona.
